Its shares rose 5 percent during the day on Tuesday to reach Rs 179.59. There’s a major story to explain this surge in stock.

In fact, MicroCap IT firm’s big increase in its stock price as an integral part of the consortium along with ITI was named the bidder with the lowest price (L1) on three bundles from the IndyNet Phase-3 project, worth Rs. 3,022 crore.

The company stated in an exchange report this month that Terra Software has ITI (PSU) in the capacity of an alliance participant in the state of Himachal Pradesh (package number 8), West Bengal and Andaman and Nicobar (package number 9) Middle Mile Network – participated in bids in the IndiaNet Project for Phase 3.

The purchase is worth Rs 3,022 crore. It further stated that Terra Software Limited has been the sole firm to have a profitable presence in Odisha since the beginning of IndyNet projects in the state of Andhra Pradesh and is now in Phase 3 of IndyNet Projects.’

Terra Software shares were trading at 79.95 each on BSE on November 5 and closed at 179.59 on the 19th of November. Since then, the stock has seen a gain of 124 percent. The market cap for the stock is 225 crore.
