G R Infraprojects Ltd informed the stock market on Monday (September 23) that it had been selected as the lowest bidder on an initiative under Phase 2 of the Nagpur Metro Rail Project (NMRP).
Based on a report from a stock exchange “… according to the stock exchanges, we are pleased to announce that our firm has been selected as the least bidder at the auction of bids for financial service on the 23rd of September 2024, for the tender, which was solicited to Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited, Nagpur (Maha Metro).”
The company has received an order amounting to 903.5 crore rupees for the design and building of a 17.624-kilometer-long metro viaduct. It includes a double-decker section with a vehicle underpass spanning 1.14 km.
The project was approved through Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (Maha Metro) and covers Reach-1A of the Phase-2 extension to Nagpur Metro. It also includes construction of railway spans of 79 m and 100 m.
This project is carried out in the engineering, procurement, as well as construction (EPC) method with a completion time which is thirty months.

It was priced at 105% discount to the price at which it was issued, which was 837 rupees per share. Mutual funds own a 15.56 percent share of GR Infra.
