Prism Johnson is India’s largest company that integrates building materials. It produces a variety of building materials, from cement tiles, and bath products.
Due to a shortage of demand and slowing the cement price, the company lost money in the quarter ending June 2024. The total loss of the company was Rs 7.70 crore.
In the same time frame before that, the company earned a profit of Rs 17.89 crore. The company’s sales during the period in question fell by 8.24 percent compared to the previous year, resulting in a loss of Rs 1,746.92 crore.
The company has recently announced that it had reached an agreement to purchase 50 percent of Sunbath Sanitary.
The company makes sanitation products. Prism Johnson has bought 6 lakh equity shares worth Rs 10, at a cost of the equivalent of Rs 21.2 for each equity share.
